Alisa Oyler is a skilled facilitator, trainer, and curriculum designer with experience working in over 20 countries including Afghanistan, Guatemala, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, and Zimbabwe. An Associate with Partners in Participation, she has an international focus with a special emphasis on efforts involving multi-stakeholder process management. As a facilitator, she is highly skilled in event design, working with existing leadership from diverse groups, including local villages, community based organizations, national boards and executive committees, bi-lateral and multi-lateral agencies and policy-making bodies to create agendas that reflect the unique context and character of the group and achieve innovative aims. She is a Mentor level trainer in the ToP facilitation curriculum, was an early leader in the design and launch of the Youth as Facilitative Leaders training series and network, and has experience with additional participatory leadership methods and group facilitation techniques as well as extensive experience with the facilitation of multicultural and multilingual groups. As a trainer and curriculum designer, Alisa has been called upon frequently to custom design capacity building systems for organizational change initiatives, systems which may piece together innovative workshops, trainings, learning contracts, learning cohorts and mentoring and peer relationships (both in person and virtual). Alisa is able to tailor and deliver trainings in the following curriculums: Technology of Participation Facilitation Methods, Community Mobilization, PRA/ PLA, Community Government Linkage Cards, Participatory Planning, Peacebuilding Program Design, Negotiation and Communication, Leadership Styles, Performance Management, Time Management, Training of Trainers and Adult Learning, Feedback and Coaching.
